The Hitler Youth Flag
This was the general flag of the Hitler Youth , Hitlerjugend , organization which began in 1923 and was disbanded in 1945. In 1936 joining the Hitlerjugend became compulsory for boys ages 10-18 years old. By that time membership in the Hitler Youth exceeded 4 million. The Hitlerjugend was formed to help prepare the young men for military service.
